Charles Fravell, President
Over the last 5 years, Charles Fravell, the founder of Arize
Technology has successfully managed several online businesses.
Through his Internet business experience he has gained a
first hand knowledge of web marketing, web site improvement,
copywriting, and customer usability techniques designed
to increase web site sales conversions, He has used this
knowledge of web design, e-consulting and web marketing
to start and to grow Arize Technology, an Internet consulting
firm focused on helping clients succeed on the net. Charles’s
previous experiences include owning and operating several
successful retail ventures. He was also a Director at a
regional technology-consulting firm overseeing the sales,
management and technical consultants of one of the company’s
business units. Mr. Fravell also has years of experience
working in the federal government market managing consultants,
computer scientists and engineers in business improvement
and systems architecture and engineering projects. Charles
brings a wealth of both business and Internet expertise
to Arize Technology.
Brian Nickey, Co-Founder & Head Designer
Brian brings over 15 years experience as a professional
graphic designer, much of which has been with the Department
of Defense. Some of his past experiences include; Senior
Web Designer for "Defenselink", the official website for
the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs,
Senior designer for Media Operations, American Forces Information
Service; Illustrator/Designer, ES Illustration and Design;
Instructor & Superintendent for the Multimedia Design
Department, Defense Visual Information School. In 2000,
he was awarded First Place Web Designer for DoD in the Military
Graphic Artist of the Year competition.
Brian is experienced with the full suite of Adobe products,
which includes PhotoShop, PageMaker, InDesign, Illustrator,
and Acrobat. He also designs in QuarkXpress, Dreamweaver,
Director, Flash and Fireworks. Brian has an extensive Print
Design and Desk Top Publishing background designing magazines,
catalogs, books, and brochures. Mr. Nickey has developed
the corporate identity for over a dozen companies including
logo development, web site design and coordinated marketing
materials. Brian’s artistic style is a balanced blend
of technical savvy and business understanding, which allows
his designs to translate well both on the web and in print.
